Steam keeps validating my games
Below you can see solutions to most common problems with Steam. In order to download and install games from Steam, you must download and install the Steam Client first. You can find the Steam client installed on the official Steam Store website: Once downloaded, installed and fully updated, you will be promted to enter your Steam Account credentials. There seem to be three main causes for this glitch: 1.You copied all of your Steam data and moved it to a new PC/ Hard drive, but you failed to change the directory in Steam’s settings (Steam can no longer find your games). You have all your games on an external hard drive and it unexpectedly disconnected and Steam thinks there is a problem with the files (this was my problem). You lost your internet connection or disconnected the HDD while the game was updating, and the files corrupted halfway through the update. This can be after you moved Steam to a new computer or a new hard drive (and the games with it), after you experienced a crash of the system, or after an update of a game on Steam that somehow changed it so that it does not start or work properly anymore. While you could go ahead and remove games from Steam right away to install them anew, validation is often the better solution.
Please keep in mind that Steam is a product of Valve Corporation.
If it is the first or second problem you are in luck and there is an easy fix.
From my experience, the last problem requires you to verify the files, and if necessary, download the entire game again.
My belief is either that Steam has somehow messed this up, , but those files are different and thus found to fail the validation when steam trys to validate all the files for KBAP, after KBCR has been installed. It could also simply be that Steam has screwed something up and is not validating the two programs correctly when it should be.
As megakill is aware of the issue, he will be checking with Steam, but in the meantime if you have an issue of losing the expansion pack (i.e.
